Susan Fratzke

Associate Policy Analyst and Program Coordinator

Susan Fratzke is an Associate Policy Analyst and Program Coordinator at MPI, where she works with the International Program.

Prior to joining MPI, Ms. Fratzke worked for the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration. Before coming to Washington, she worked with an adult literacy program serving immigrant and refugee students in Minnesota.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University with majors in political science and international studies. She received a master’s degree in German and European studies with a concentration in European migration policy from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she also completed a Certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies. Her master’s thesis focused on civic participation strategies among Kurdish economic migrants and refugees in Germany.
